Metroid SR387 – Infiltrate a Space Pirate Base Overrun by a Rogue AI in This Zero Mission Hack
The space pirates have abandoned SR387. Their base, overrun by a rogue AI they could no longer control, is now a liability — and ADAM wants Samus inside before the Federation wastes the opportunity. It might be a trap. Go anyway.
Metroid SR387 by OneOf99 and NathanTech is a Zero Mission hack built around a focused infiltration mission with its own original story, told through ADAM’s opening briefing and carried through the layout and atmosphere of the base itself. Unlike most hacks that start Samus with nothing, SR387 equips you from the beginning with Long Beam, Power Grip and Morph Ball — the tools you need to get into the facility and start uncovering what the pirates were hiding before they fled.
The result is a hack with a distinct sense of purpose and pacing, leaning into the espionage and discovery feel of the best Metroid games rather than pure exploration for its own sake. A solid, story-driven addition to the store’s Zero Mission hack lineup alongside the sprawling Scrolls 6, the tight Deep Freeze, and the themed Spooky Mission series.
