The familiar Kanto story and structure remain intact, so you always know where you’re going, but every trainer battle, gym leader, and rival encounter has been reworked around an entirely new Digimon lineup.

All 250 Digimon have been assigned custom typings and abilities rather than lifted wholesale from the anime, meaning you’ll want to experiment and explore to learn how each one works.
