Boktai 3: Sabata’s Counterattack – Custom GBA Cartridge with Working Solar Sensor & RTC (English Fan Translation)
The third and final entry in the Boktai GBA trilogy — and the one the rest of the world never officially got. Boktai 3: Sabata’s Counterattack was released in Japan on July 28, 2005 under the title Shin Bokura no Taiyou: Gyakushuu no Sabata. Due to poor international sales of Boktai 2, Konami made the decision not to localize it outside Japan, skipping directly to Lunar Knights on Nintendo DS for Western markets. For years, Boktai 3 remained inaccessible to anyone who couldn’t read Japanese — until a dedicated team of fan translators produced a complete English script translation, making the full game playable in English for the first time.
The story picks up after the events of Boktai 2. Django finds himself brought to the brink of death at the hands of a brainwashed Sabata and sealed underground, saved only by the vampire blood running in his veins. After escaping, he discovers that Ratatosk, the Puppeteer and Lord of Destruction, is using Sabata’s Lunar Blood to revive Vanargand, the Beast of Destruction. Armed with both the Gun del Sol and a returning melee weapon system, Django must travel across the continent aboard the Vector Coffin — a hybrid coffin and motorbike — to hunt down the Dark Clan and save his brother.
New to the third entry is the Trance Gauge, which fills as Django fights and unlocks Sol Django — a powered-up fusion form with Otenko. Black Django, his vampire form, also returns. The solar sensor and RTC are back fully intact, and this time the solar gauge can even be used at night, making the experience more accessible than its predecessors without losing the outdoor gameplay that defines the series.
This custom cartridge includes a fully functional solar sensor and RTC — identical to the original Japanese hardware.
This is a custom-made cartridge ready to play straight out of the box.
